Salvador Dali
Salvador Domingo Felipe Jacinto Dalí i Domènech was born on May 11, 1904 close to the French border in Catalonia, Spain. Dalí's older brother, aslo named Salvador was born October 12, 1901, he had died of gastroenteritis three years after he was born on August 1, 1903. Salvador's parents often said he was the reencarnation of his older brother, and they acted as if he was the exact same person, this made him extremly confused. Dalí also had a sister, Ana María, who was three years younger then he was. Around the year 1931, Dali was became interested in painting and he painted one of he most famous works, The Persistance of Memory which looks like melting pocket watches on a dry landscape, then his career sky rocketed.
