Clay Vessel Reflection Questions.
1. The good/strong parts of my vessel is my frog's face and tummy.
2. The bad parts are how I don't have my legs done and how the inside of my frog's tummy isn't smooth like I wanted it.
3. It's about the size of about two softballs, the belly is the biggest part and the head is the most detailed.
4. I made a froggy bank which is like a piggy bank... only it's a frog. You put coins in its mouth and dump them out from its mouth when you want them back.
5. I wanted to make the frog look smooth and slimy like normal frogs. I plan on putting spots on its back.
6. I learned that the wheel is very helpful when making a frog belly!
7. I ended up useing my original piliminary designs because when Mr. Purdy was talking about someting to hold something else, I thought FROGGY BANK!!! And I really liked that idea so I stuck with it. First I molded the head of the frog, then I used the pottery wheel to make the hollow belly of the froggy, then I molded them together to make the whole body, and thats where I am so far... I plan of making feet and spots on its back before it put it in the kiln... kilm... kil... I dont know how to say it >:(
8. I loved this project and I definatly think Mr. Purdy should do it again.
